2011
Roller coaster. That's the best way to describe my 2011 journey.
A few ups and a number of downward dips which sometimes felt like a spiral down to an abyss.
But the best part is, I am still here and as long as I am breathing, there is still hope.
2011 was probably the fastest yet slowest year in my life. If that even made sense. I did a lot of traveling and I didn't realize that the year was about to end already.
Hong kong. Paris. Germany. France. Italy. Netherlands. Belgium. US. Singapore. Then Back to Paris. Whew. That was a bit overwhelming. I am grateful for the opportunity. Hopefully 2012 will have a lot of travel too. This time with Chris and Teo :)
Work was hectic.
Life was crazy.
Had to deal with a lot of issues that I am now fixing. God help me :)
We transferred to our new home. That was fun.
Mateo turned 3. So smart and kulit.
Sigh. 2012. I welcome you with open arms :) I am excited for all the blessing that will come.
Bring it on!!!

Yumemiya
I haven't blogged in a while but u just have to blog about this new food discovery ;)
YUMEMIYA Japanese Cafe in Northeast square building in connecticut St in Greenhills :)
Ager, my co-body dysmophic, turned food lover sis introduced this place to me and Karen. Ager always sounds excited about things so I had so-so expectations about this restaurant that she was raving about. I shouldn't have been too skeptical ... Afterall, she introduced me to chucks deli!!! :)
Food was yummy! Here is Ager with the udon noodles with beef in Japanese curry !
The broth was uber rich and flavorful we had to ask for extra soup ... But we had to pay php 50 for an extra bowl of soup but it was worth it!
We ordered this for Karen and the beef was oh so tender and flavorful!
The prawn rice bowl was for me and it did not disappoint us :)
Why? Why is eating so sinful yet I can't stop eating??? :)
And we had to have dessert of course ... Amidst all the frozen desserts out there... Like my new fave ...
Happy lemon cocoa with rock salt and cheese
Let me introduce you to the Taiwanese version of frozen dessert...
Frozen Taho :) hehe :)

A much awaited break
The past few weeks have been composed of long stressful days and sleepless nights. And it's taking a toll on my mind and sanity.
The hot and humid weather is not helping at all! My mind was so numb and empty.
Today, rain came for a visit.
What a refreshing change.
It's mothers day today and Ma treated all her apos to a day in Hidden Valley in laguna. We wished for it not to be hot so God gave us rain :)
It was a welcome change and it certainly did not dampen our excitement. I usually don't care much for public pools but the "running" water and spring water eased the icky factor.
Floating in lukewarm water while cool raindrops fell on my face when I would look up the sky released all the stress in my body. I felt connected with myself, the earth and God :)
I felt revived. Everything is still not fixed but I know that everything is better with a clearer mind.
So tomorrow is another day and it brings with it new challenges and opportunities. Lead me to the right path Lord :)
