I haven't blogged in a while but u just have to blog about this new food discovery ;)

YUMEMIYA Japanese Cafe in Northeast square building in connecticut St in Greenhills :)

Ager, my co-body dysmophic, turned food lover sis introduced this place to me and Karen. Ager always sounds excited about things so I had so-so expectations about this restaurant that she was raving about. I shouldn't have been too skeptical ... Afterall, she introduced me to chucks deli!!! :)




Food was yummy! Here is Ager with the udon noodles with beef in Japanese curry !


The broth was uber rich and flavorful we had to ask for extra soup ... But we had to pay php 50 for an extra bowl of soup but it was worth it!

We ordered this for Karen and the beef was oh so tender and flavorful!



The prawn rice bowl was for me and it did not disappoint us :)



Why? Why is eating so sinful yet I can't stop eating??? :)

And we had to have dessert of course ... Amidst all the frozen desserts out there... Like my new fave ...

A much awaited break

The past few weeks have been composed of long stressful days and sleepless nights. And it's taking a toll on my mind and sanity.



The hot and humid weather is not helping at all! My mind was so numb and empty.

Today, rain came for a visit.



What a refreshing change.

It's mothers day today and Ma treated all her apos to a day in Hidden Valley in laguna. We wished for it not to be hot so God gave us rain :)


It was a welcome change and it certainly did not dampen our excitement. I usually don't care much for public pools but the "running" water and spring water eased the icky factor.

Floating in lukewarm water while cool raindrops fell on my face when I would look up the sky released all the stress in my body. I felt connected with myself, the earth and God :)




I felt revived. Everything is still not fixed but I know that everything is better with a clearer mind.



So tomorrow is another day and it brings with it new challenges and opportunities. Lead me to the right path Lord :)

Ager has been raving about this place and I have been wanting to try it out :)


It's so ironic that it's about 5 minute walk from my place and I haven't been there. Maybe the name just doesn't sound appealing to me. I thought it was a meat shop!

So is it worth all the buzz?

I ordered the Buffy :) buffalo wing sandwich and one of their best sellers ... My verdict? Too HOT for me! I couldn't finish it but Len said it was ok :)

Up next : Faking Duck!


Now... this one is something that I would want to have again! The roasted pork, hoisin sauce, lettuce and chives complemented the crunchy yet chewy ciabatta bread. Yum yum yum! Will definitely eat this again!

Dessert was key lime pie and was just ok.


Will try another dessert next time :)

Mateo had yogurt for dessert :)

Sunday Brunches are one of my favorite things to do with my boys :) And we have extra fun when we do it with the Navarro's, Herrera's and Maronilla's :)













I love spending time with my peeps. :)


They never fail to make me smile :)

We have to meet up on a regular basis not just to catch up but to do playdates as well :) The kids are growing up so fast!
