Magical Weekend :)

What a weekend.

I spent three days in what people call "the happiest place on earth" :)





The Asian Version ... :)

3 days. 2 nights. No Yaya. Super tiring but super kaduper fun!!! So worth all the kalyo in the world.

I barely had time to take pictures because my 28 month old toddler was definitely a handful :) My almost 35 year old spine and leg muscles are aching because my almost 20 kilo baby loves being carried around. No time to shop or even comb my hair. (as if! )

But I will never exchange this weekend for anything :) Spending 24 hours with Mateo is such a rare occurrence so I really treasure this time. Just watching his face light up when he saw Mickey Mouse or his eyes twinkle in amazement when he saw Cinderella made me so happy :)

Cuddling with him in the cold weather and running around with him was so much fun :)






I never thought I would enjoy the "it's a small world" ride of Disney.





With the repetitive song and crazy/ creepy dolls.





But I did! Experiencing this ride with teo made a big difference :)

And this trip would not have been possible without the love and support of ...

MOTHER :)





Thanks for the treat MA! :) Sa uulitin. Hehe. We love love traveling with you :) snappy snappy!

How did you spend your hearts day? :)

Mine felt like a week long food trip bonanza... :) After all the craziness, I just want to write down my thoughts about ... LOVE :)

Have I turned into mush? Highly unlikely :)

I just know that love is an amazing thing and there is so much for everyone :) I want to (again) thank my support system and my love ones for making life worthwhile :)




Errands, things to do etc do make me crazy every now and then. I have been a bit overwhelmed lately and I sometimes just need a breather.

Just when I am about to crash, I find myself watching my little boy sleeping so peacefully and he makes me feel all better again :) I am blessed.

I look out the window of Mateos room and see the garden and I feel so lucky living in such a peaceful and beautiful place.


I am surrounded with so much love and I just want to thank all of you for continuously being by Angels. Thank you for making me laugh and keeping me sane. Thank you for your unconditional love. Thank you for your hugs. Thank you for all the kind words and the not so kind ones that you need to say to make me better :) Thank you for all the love :)

Cheesy cheesy

I woke up with a migraine and was super lazy to go to work but I did. I told Tina that I felt sick and wanted to back out of the hearts day dinner with her and pat. Just the thought of another buffet dinner made feel fugly. :/

I am so glad I went! Surprisingly, no traffic in Makati :)

Chris and I met up with the P's and the newbies, Tina and tuge! The T's! Lol.

Soon to be daddy and mommy p :)

Food wasn't great for me. Circles has changed. IMHO.

But the company made it all worthwhile :)

Why does Valentines Day Feel Like Christmas?

I don't think of myself as mushy or cheesy so Valentines isn't one of my favorite holidays.

Especially now that it means more food. I guess the lack of creativity and cheesiness would entail me to just spend hearts day with food. Food. And More Food :)


Pre-valentines pa lang feeling ko I've gained more weight than the Christmas season.

Che is now here and it's about time that I lead her to yummy places to eat.

First stop was Crisostomos in Resorts World.



Yummy pinakbet. :) a must for veggie lovers :)





I was so hungry that day. I forgot to take food shots. :(

Next stop. Paseo Uno in Mandarin Oriental.


I have been hearing about this place for a while now and it was the perfect time to try it :)

Che and Josef were a bit iffy to try it because they didn't think much of Mandarin Oriental. Good thing I prevailed! ;)


Note to self : lomo camera apps can't produce great food shots :)





Tempura. Grilled prawns. Steak. Soft shelled crab tempura. Foie gras. More crabs.

One of the best tasting buffet that I've ever had. Choice-wise, it's not as Kaloka as spirals or circles but it taste a lot better. :)
