Food Trip 101 :)

Tis the season to binge.

I cannot seem to stop eating yummy treats :) Maybe I will start tomorrow :)

But for now...

I shall eat and enjoy the company that food brings :)

The xiao long pao was so-so but ... The masachi (?) was to die for!

Food Trip

I was with Achie and her kids this Sunday and we went food tripping :) Christmas time doesn't only produce fashion/gift bazaars but food bazaars as well :)



I feel like I have gained 10 pounds just by trying the samplers.

Lol. Sorry but it they prepared all wrapped in soft crepe with cucumber and hoisin sauce. The meat was so tender. I want another one please! :)

Pizza.pasta.cupcakes.cookies. Darn. It's too sinful to stay and eat all the samplers.

So I left them and went to the basement salon in Rockell :) time to fix my hair!


It ended up well :) easy to maintain :)

Service was so so. I am what others call - a difficult client and sitting for a long time (more than an hour) is not something that I like doing.

But results was ok naman :)


Christmas na Sa Mga malls! Lol. :)

Positive.Negative.

I recently heard someone say that it's hard for her to stay positive all the time because she feels like shes just forcing herself to be positive :/

Well. I must admit that being "positive" all the time doesn't come easily for everyone. I for one, need to check myself every now and then when I'm starting to be down and "nega" :)

I really just have some "hormonal" days when I would take more effort on my part to be all positive and grateful :)

And I know when I am being hormonal and combative when I find myself contemplating on questioning (or running over) the police escort that is leading a number of cars that are counter flowing. Dba sabi ni Pnoy Wala ng wangwang? Grrrrr. I almost did not let them pass. Hassle Lang. :/

So what do I do during days like these? :)

I pray. Hard. Harder than I normally do.

Lord please protect all the not so smart people around me... I might just strangle them.



I try stay away from events that will trigger any stressful situations.

I vent to open minded people who (or even just pretends to) understand.

I drink Starbucks. Does not help calm my nerves but it helps me somehow :)



And of course. Try in vain to let go and let God :)

At the end of a blah day, I turn into a kunsintidor / not so ideal mom and let my boys eat ice cream in bed at 930 in the evening. Right before bedtime. :)

Where are you Christmas?

Christmas used to be so magical for me. The giddy feeling, the cool breeze, enchanting lights and Christmas carols... All these things and more made the Christmas season feel so special.

It's no wonder that Christmas nowadays won't feel like what it used to. Cool breeze is replaced by weird weather because of global warming and I rarely hear Christmas carols anymore except inside the mall.

Speaking of Christmas carols, I remember the year (2002) that I spent Christmas in the US. I stumbled across a radio station which played Christmas songs all day long... From December 1st. And I stuck to that station for 30 days. :) Christmas carols, snow and chipmunks. But that's another story. :)

Going back... Now I find myself wanting to feel the spirit once again. I want Mateo to have fun memories of Christmas like I do. So I drag him to places like this. Lol :)

All because I want him to feel the giddy feeling that I have for this season :)

I wish I could decorate our home to have a more " Christmas-y" feel to it but I am having a hard time because of... space concerns :) I googled some ideas already :) I hope I pull it off :)

My 2 dates :)

Working 6 days a week sometimes makes me lazy to do more productive things on my off days. I prefer to just stay in bed and do nothing except to watch TV, surf the net and bug Chris and Mateo :)

After my recent trip to china, I haven't had the chance to bond with my boys...


And last Sunday, I wasn't able to make time for them because ... well ... I went to the St James Bazaar ... Teeheehee :)


I did try to make up for it by baking banana bread muffin... :)



But I know it wasn't enough. So I had a movie date night with chris :) Harry Potter time :)
