Singapura :)

I was sent to Singapore for a Marketing Conference. Why me? Why not? Lol.




PAL served me 7 up products. Thank goodness. I hate virgin cola products. Belch. Bizu pa ang dessert. Level up? :)


The flight was not full so my seat mate left me :) Goodie :) I had space to be a camwhore :) wahaha.


That gets old pretty fast though. Good thing I have my trusty iPad :)

So now I'll try to learn as much as I can. Lol.

And the verdict is in!

Two weeks after I was declared a "hit" in NBI, I came back to finally get my NBI clearance.


I arrived at 8:30.

And got the verdict at 8:31.



I am innocent! :) lol. Yahoo! Thank goodness!

The process was fast, quick and painless :) No lines... No drama... I didn't even have time to take pictures. :)

I travelled 15 kms going to victory mall so why not eat breakfast there? Jollibee time.

I haven't been to Jollibee in a while. I just found out today that they serve bangus for breakfast! Duh.


And that "classic" jolly hotdog doesn't have cheese! Huwat?


It was wrapped in a clear plastic pa! No leveling up in jollibee.... Eww.

But I am still happy :) I don't have to go back to Caloocan again!

I recently downloaded an app in iPad which allows me to "paint" 3D like images. Very interesting :)

We decided to eat in Bistecca. It is a new steak place in Rockwell and we decided to check it out :)

Verdict?



7/10. Maybe too much expectation from all the hype? It was good but not amazing in our opinion :)

The soup, salad and side dishes were yummy though.








The steak was good but not something that I would crave for. I think Mamou's steak is better.


And skip the dessert please.


The worst ever :(


The chocolate lava cake was good enough :)

But company was great :) It was a fun night filled with crazy talk as usual :)

I'm a HIT! :0

I was so happy to finish my passport renewal yesterday :). I was able to apply door Mateo too!

Passport renewal and application for a toddler was easier Thani have imagined. The new DFA building near MOA was spacious enough for all the applicants. :). It was too cold though...

We finished in an hour and 45 minutes...

NOW... For my NBI clearance... I had to go to Victory Mall in Caloocan to apply for mine. It was just supposed to be a renewal but since I changed my name and my purpose is for travel, I had to go to this big branch.

The process was not too bad. 6 steps in all.

Data entry. Finger printing. Image capture. Payment. Clearing and releasing.


I must say that some people have no idea of personal space! But that is not my biggest concern!

I was a HIT and not in a good way! :(



My married name, Marilou B. Cortez has a red flag of some sort and I guess they have to review it and I have to be back here next week! WTF!!!!!!

Sigh. Oh well. I think I will have to change my name to the hyphenated one. Darn.

Why are Sundays so short?

It's almost 7 pm and my precious Sunday is almost over.

I started the day early with Mateo :) I always have a great time spending time with Mateo.

He accompanied me to Barre3. He just played with his iPad :)


Carol and I met up in Barre3 to try the pilates/ballet workout. Whew. It was challenging to say the least! Carol exuded to just stick to badminton while I think I'll stick with it :) Lets see... :)


After class, we met up with sherry and his two boys, Joseph and Gabby in The Stock Market to have brunch. my boys, Chris and Mateo were there too :)

My afternoon was spent cooking pasta :) yum yum.

I must admit that I have a number of vices or addictions. I'm a self confessed chocoholic, bagaholic, shoe addict, app addict and of course Starbucks fan. :)

Some say that it's just overpriced coffee but I can't help myself :)

I even have a tiny collection of Starbucks tumblers :)


I have lost some though :(




The tumbler on the bottom leftmost corner is not from Starbucks. It's more precious to me because it's from the ASDS convention where I presented a paper! :)




Even Mateo has his first "a-bucks" tumbler :)

So if you want to give me a gift, you know what to give me :)
